McGlashan: League Two's quality

Cheltenham's Jermaine McGlashan feels the unpredictability of League Two shows the improvement of the Football League's lower division.

The winger, who joined the Robins from Aldershot last month, has spent the last two seasons in the fourth tier and stressed no team in the league is a walkover. To prove a point, the 23-year-old cited the Robins' own experiences this term. The Whaddon Road club may be riding high in second place but they have struggled against the likes of lowly Hereford and AFC Wimbledon over the course of the campaign. "I've been in this league for a couple of seasons and it (the standard) has gone up," McGlashan said. "Everyone can beat everyone else in this league. You can play against teams in the bottom half and it's not going to be easy. You can see that because we were punished by Hereford. "You have to concentrate against all the teams. There are big sides like Swindon and Crawley who have money behind them and then Gillingham, Southend - no game is easy. "Hopefully at the end of the season we'll be talking about the quality of League One."
