Missed chances irk Bradbury

Lee Bradbury was disappointed his Bournemouth strikers failed to convert at least one of their chances in a 1-0 home defeat to MK Dons.

Dons defender Mathias Doumbe pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area midway through the first half to lift Karl Robinson's side to within four points of an automatic promotion place. Bradbury said: "I'm disappointed not to get anything out of the game. For long periods we had the ball. I've just looked at the stats which say we've had twice as many shots, but we haven't made it count. "It's small margins which have cost us. Our strikers will be the first to say that they have to do better with their chances. But it's a team game - we have to keep clean sheets to win games and we have to score goals as well. "We're all accountable and we'll move on and work on that this week. We knew there was going to be another chance in the game. It dropped to Wes [Thomas] and you'd fancy him to score normally. But he's done great for us this season and nobody will start pointing fingers at him. "We're all sticking together. The majority of the time he would finish that, but it's just unfortunate that he didn't."
