Taylor looks to rally Rovers

Ash Taylor has urged his Tranmere team-mates to take the positives from Tuesday's draw at Carlisle into the weekend visit of Charlton.

Les Parry's side have won just one of their last 15 games in League One, but were much improved in the midweek stalemate at Brunton Park. And Rovers defender Taylor views towards a point gained from that game, and at The Valley in October, as reasons to be cheerful going into Saturday's visit of the Addicks to Prenton Park. He told Tranmere Player: "I thought we were worthy of the three points at Carlisle. I was pleased to help keep a clean sheet (but) the overall performance from the lads was the main thing. "It was important to break the sequence of defeats and now we've got to build on it. It's going to be a tough game (against Charlton), but if we work together as a team I'm sure we can get something. "We've got to take confidence from the Carlisle game on Tuesday. We've got to take the positives from that and the 1-1 draw at Charlton earlier in the season."
