Boss revels as Robins go top

Mark Yates is delighted Cheltenham are back at the top of League Two after gaining a point in Saturday's 1-1 derby draw at Hereford.

Hereford striker Delroy Facey headed the Bulls in front in the first half, but the Robins hit back straight after the break at Edgar Street with a powerful header from striker Kaid Mohamed. "We showed tremendous character in the second half and there was only one team going to win it," said Yates. "So it was a good point, especially with the record we have against Hereford in the last few years. "After we played them at home, when the result was 0-0, I said then that it was a good point so I think it was another good one for us. It also showed that we have got a bit of self-belief back in the second half, when we got back to doing what we do well. "We played some decent stuff, but we could have been a bit more clinical and passed the ball better. Having got beaten on Tuesday night (by Crawley) it was so important we didn't get beaten here. "It's another game gone, and another point gained - we are top of the league and we must not forget that."
