But defender will be available for quarter-final with Bayern
Stuttgart's Cristian Molinaro has been banned for three matches following his sending-off in the 2-2 draw at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
The German Football Association confirmed the Italian left-back had been banned for "a crude tackle".
Molinaro was shown a straight red card for the foul on Andre Schurrle in the 90th minute of the match.
The 28-year-old will now miss the Bundesliga matches against Hertha Berlin, Hannover and Freiburg.
But the former Juventus player is available for Wednesday's German Cup quarter-final with Bayern Munich.
