Potter moves on loan to Queen of the South

Dunfermline have completed a double piece of business by signing full-back Jordan McMillan from Rangers and allowing defender John Potter to move on loan to Queen of the South. The Pars, one point adrift of Hibernian at the foot of the Scottish Premier League table, have recruited McMillan on an 18-month deal which ends on 31st May, 2013. Announcing the move on their official website, the club said: "Full-back Jordan McMillan has signed for Dunfermline. "He has been at Rangers since he was a youth and this season has made three appearances for the Ibrox club." Meanwhile, Potter, who last summer returned to East End Park following a spell at St Mirren, has moved to Dumfries-based Queen of the South until 22nd May, 2012. Potter's current Dunfermline contract expires at the end of the campaign and it may be the 32-year-old has played his final game for the Pars.
