No to Tadic loan

Groningen have rejected an approach from Roma over the possible move on loan of their Serbian international Dusan Tadic. The Dutch side are keen on selling one of their hottest prospects rather than loaning him despite the possibility of cashing in on the player in the summer. Twenty-three-year-old left midfielder has a contract with Groningen up to 2013 and it is tipped that his price is around €7.5 million. He moved to Holland in 2010 from Vojvodina, and he has impressed with a number of assists. Roma offered Groningen a six-month loan period for Tadic with a possible permanent deal in the summer. The player's agent also confirmed the interest of Roma's arch rivals Lazio for the player. "I had several contacts with Lazio after Roma sent their offer to Groningen, but both clubs are interested only in loaning which is unacceptable for Groningen," Zoran Pavlovic told Sport. It is also reported that several clubs from the Bundesliga are following this player with Borussia Monchengladbach most interested.
