NAC Breda teenager Alex Schalk has extended his contract at the Eredivisie club mid-2015 after impressing this season.
The 19-year-old forward has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, making 15 league appearances so far and scoring three goals.
Breda technical director Jeffrey van As was delighted to see him commit his future to the club.
He told the club's official website: "We have upgraded his contract and extended it until 2015.
"We are very happy because Alex is a talented boy from our programme."
Schalk, who was born in Breda, came through the youth ranks at the Eredivisie side, making his senior debut in May.
