Yeovil midfielder Gavin Williams made his playing return from injury in a practice match against Sherborne on Tuesday.
Williams had been sidelined since the beginning of September with a knee ligament problem, but could now be in contention for the Glovers' League One clash with Notts County this weekend. Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton was pleased to see the 31-year-old get through 80 minutes of the game unscathed. He told the club's official website: "I was delighted to give Gavin and some of the other lads a game and Gavin came through with flying colours. "I shall certainly have an interesting job selecting my team for the match against Notts County."
