USA internationals Robby Rodgers and Kyle Beckerman are spending time on trial at Kaiserslautern, the Bundesliga club have announced.
The German side have released a statement confirming that Columbus Crew winger Rodgers and Real Salt Lake City midfielder Beckerman will train at the Fritz Walter Stadion club during the Major Soccer League offseason.
Kaiserslautern said in the statement that neither player is a candidate to be offered a contract and they will not appear in friendly games during their stay.
The trials have been arranged by USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, who represented the Germany national side alongside Kaiserslautern general manager Stefan Kuntz during his playing days.
