Rayo Vallecano have confirmed that Raul Tamudo will be missing for the next month.
The former Spain international was forced off with a hamstring injury during the weekend's defeat at Villarreal.
Rayo had hoped that he would be fit within a week but scans have now revealed a muscle tear in his hamstring.
He will now be sidelined until the start of December, missing at least Rayo's next three league matches.
Tamudo's absence could very well give former Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco the chance to start.
