Coventry boss Andy Thorn bemoaned two points dropped after his side shared the spoils with fellow strugglers Doncaster Rovers in a 1-1 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium.
City snatched the lead with a spectacular goal from skipper Sammy Clingan in the 31st minute but allowed Doncaster back into the game in the second half.
And the hosts got their reward when striker James Hayter blasted home from close range on the hour mark.
The stalemate means both sides are still stuck in the Championship relegation zone.
Sloppy
Thorn said: "Sammy's goal was worthy of winning any game. I'll take the point but I'm disappointed it wasn't three.
"We had a lot of possession and missed three great chances at the end. If we had picked the right pass each time we would have come away winning the game."
Thorn, whose side have yet to win away this season, added: "We allowed them a sloppy equaliser.
"It was a poor goal to give away from our point of view.
"But we kept going for it at the end and that was pleasing. Unfortunately it just wasn't to be."
Clingan's opener came against the run of play after Doncaster had done most of the attacking in the first half.
Rovers started the brighter in the second half and deservedly levelled through Hayter.
Encouraging
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders said: "It was important we never lost the game although I'm disappointed we didn't get three points.
"We'd lost three in a row so it stopped a little bit of a bad run.
"The encouraging aspect was that we came from behind and that's not the first time we've managed to dig out a result since I came here.
"We looked like we wanted to win it and everybody had a go - and that's all I can ask from them.
"I'm still learning about the team since taking over but we'll keep picking up points and eventually I'll get it right and then we'll start winning games."
