Kakha Kaladze and Adrian Mutu have been handed heavy bans after being sent off in Serie A over the weekend.
Genoa defender Kaladze has been hit with a four-game ban after reacting furiously to being sent off against Lecce.
Kaladze was dismissed after two quick bookings, the first for kicking the ball away and the second for insulting the referee.
The Georgian then had to be restrained by his team-mates from taking his protests any further to the offical.
Cesena striker Mutu was banned for three games after being sent off for raising his arm at Fiorentina's Mattia Cassani.
