Out-of-favour Real Madrid winger Pedro Leon has returned to former club Getafe on loan for the season.
The winger featured for Getafe in the 2009-10 season before joining Real for a reported fee of 10million euros (£8.83m) in July last year.
But the 24-year-old made just six appearances - scoring once - under Real boss Jose Mourinho, who warned on Saturday that he did not feature in his plans for the coming campaign.
The two clubs said in a statement: "Real Madrid and Getafe have reached an agreement by which Pedro Leon will be loaned out to the latter club. Getafe reserve the right to purchase the player at the end of the present season."
Leon has also played for Spanish sides Levante, Murcia and Valladolid.
