Italian club's vice-president says midfielder will sign for Fiorentina
Bologna have revealed that midfielder Gaston Ramirez could become a Fiorentina player as soon as this weekend.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a number of Italian clubs this summer including Juventus and Roma after an impressive 2010-11 season, but is on his way to Florence, says Bologna's vice-president Maurizo Setti.
"The negotiation is well underway," Setti told Fiorentinanews.com. "Fiorentina's offer satisfied us and by the weekend the deal should be closed, even though I think that Fiorentina have to decide the sale of (Alberto) Gilardino (to Genoa) first."
Fiorentina were reported to be willing to add Felipe in the transfer along with cash of €9million, and Setti has confirmed that the defender will join them.
"As for Felipe, he will have many more chances to play here with us than in Florence," he remarked.
