Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler says he has been impressed by trialist goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniger from Argentina.
The 19-year-old is 6ft 9in and has made two friendly appearances for the Gills against Dartford and Weymouth on Friday and Saturday.
"He is a fantastic size and nothing seems to faze him," Hessenthaler told the club's official website. "He had fans behind him at Dartford giving him a little bit of stick but it didn't get to him.
"He's got a fantastic kick on him so he could be one that's worth nurturing along.
"He's only a year older than Daren Hawkes so he could be one for the future.
"I think the real test will be when he goes up against one of the bigger clubs that we're playing over the next couple of weeks, because he's not had too much to do so far."
