Serie A new boys Novara have made their first signing of the summer.
Novara have swooped to sign experienced defender Massimo Paci from Parma.
The 33-year-old has signed on a permanent deal after some five-years at the Ennio Tardini.
"It's arrived, officially the first operation," said Novara in a statement.
The club are also believed to be close to signing defender Dario Knezevic from Livorno.
