Udinese have moved to secure the signature of Ivory Coast international Thierry Doubai.

The Serie A outfit have been busy bolstering their ranks of late and Doubai becomes their third capture of the summer.

The 23-year-old midfielder arrives in Italy after spending the last four years in Switzerland with BSC Young Boys.

He made 77 appearances for the Bern-based outfit and appeared in all eight of their UEFA Champions League fixtures last season.

Doubai will be hoping that a high-profile switch will give him the opportunity to add to the one international cap in picked up in a friendly against Tunisia in 2008.

He has penned a five-year contract, so will have ample opportunity to prove his worth.

Doubai joins fellow new recruits Danilo Larangeira and Abdoul Wahid in Francesco Guidolin's squad for 2011/12.

The upcoming campaign will see Udinese back in the Champions League, having secured a fourth-place finish last season.
