Northampton Town goalkeeper Chris Dunn has signed a three-year deal at Coventry City for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old rose through the ranks at Sixfields and made more than 100 appearances for the club. Coventry manager Andy Thorn said: "I am absolutely delighted that we have signed Chris. "I know for a fact that a Premier League club was interested in him but we have managed to get it done quickly. "He's 6ft 4ins, he's a young boy and we've watched him for some time now and he is going to be a big asset. "Like everyone else, he is coming here to compete for a place in the first team. We don't have reserves, everyone has a chance of getting their hands on the jersey and Chris will be no different." Cobblers boss Gary Johnson said: "We wish Chris well. "He's still very young for a keeper and has the potential to improve with age and experience. "He has a fantastic attitude and in the short time I worked with him here, I only saw him do well. He was a real team player who was desperate to succeed for the club." Johnson added: "We have various options as we look for a new goalkeeper and I'm confident we'll be able to bring in a good replacement for Chris."
