Aldershot have completed the double capture of Jamie Collins and Ross Worner for next season.

Collins, a midfielder or left-sided defender, arrives from non-league Newport where he played under Shots boss Dean Holdsworth before he took the reins at the EBB Stadium in January. Goalkeeper Worner arrives following his release by Charlton, for whom he made 11 appearances last season. Holdsworth told Aldershot's official website: "I have known Jamie since he was nine years old when he was at Watford. He possesses all the attributes I am looking for. "He is a quality player and has a great attitude who works his socks off. He will bring great attributes to the football club and has a will to win. He will be good around the dressing room and players will enjoy playing with him. "Ross is eager to get involved too. We have monitored his progress and he has the calibre to push Jamie Young in goal and they will be a good partnership together. It is an important area. We also have Jordan Clement and his time will come but he is likely to go on loan in order to get some first-team experience but to be available if required to be called back."
