Matt Edwards believes his hunger will hold him in good stead as he looks to establish himself at Rochdale next season.
Edwards, 20, had only been on month-to-month deals at the League One club this term but is determined to kick on in 2011/12. He said: "I have stayed fit virtually all season and I have the experience of being around the squad and I feel ready to push on. "I'm only young and I'm patient but there is still a hunger and desire to play. "I will just have to ensure I'm ready whenever I get called upon to play, that is the only thing I can do right now."
