Healy and Lee-Barrett to stay, Murphy leaves

Ipswich have been handed a boost with the news Colin Healy and Arran Lee-Barrett are staying for a promotion push next season, but Brian Murphy has left the club. The trio were out of contract at the end of the season and boss Paul Jewell wanted to keep all three at Portman Road as he plans a push for the Premier League. While midfielder Healy and keeper Lee-Barrett have agreed to stay on, Murphy has rejected an offer and has now left the Championship outfit. Jewell told the club's official website: "Colin and Arran are staying. "Brian Murphy has turned down the offer we made him though and that's his choice. "He has left the club and we wish him well." Healy arrived in 2009 from Cork City, while Lee-Barrett joined the Tractor Boys from Hartlepool in the same year. Fellow keeper Murphy signed from Bohemians last season and went on to make 25 appearances. But the 28-year-old did not play under Jewell, with a broken ankle keeping him out for three months from the end of December.
