Dutt is set to succeed Bayern Munich-bound Jupp Heynckes at Leverkusen at the end of the season and he is already planning changes to the squad he will inherit.

Leverkusen executive Wolfgang Holzhauser revealed on Monday that talks were taking place regarding Toprak and Freiburg director of sport Dirk Dufner now says that an agreement is in place for the defender.

Asked about the 21-year-old, Dufner told Badische Zeitung: "We have reached an agreement with Leverkusen. We would get a decent fee for him.''

But Leverkusen general manager Rudi Voller is certain the club will not be on the wrong end of any similar deal as a result of Heynckes' return to Bayern.

Ideal solution

Reports have suggested that Arturo Vidal will follow his current boss to the Allianz Arena when he succeeds Louis van Gaal this summer.

But Voller, who accepts that Heynckes' assistant manager, Peter Hermann, could move, is adamant that none of Leverkusen's players will join Bayern.

Voller told Kicker: "Jupp Heynckes will definitely not sign any player from Bayer Leverkusen.

"Whoever feels Jupp could do something like that, does not know him in person."

Meanwhile, Dutt, has praised Freiburg's decision to appoint current youth-team manager Marcus Sorg as his replacement on a two-year deal.

Dutt told Deutsche Presseagentur: "From my point of view, Freiburg have gone for the ideal solution. I am sure Marcus Sorg will do an excellent job with the squad from the new season, he is a good manager."
