Speight still on spot-kick duty

Bradford striker Jake Speight will remain as the Bantams' penalty taker after converting from the spot last weekend.

Speight scored his first league goal for the club with a well-taken penalty in the 1-1 draw against Northampton and manager Peter Jackson has handed him the role on a permanent basis. Jackson said: "James Hanson took one and had it saved, so did Gareth Evans, while Jake took his and scored, so he'll be on penalty duty if and when we next get one. "Jake showed a lot of nerve taking that penalty. He grabbed hold of the ball the moment it was awarded and showed great confidence to take command of the situation. "I believe the referee made him re-spot the ball, which won't have helped his nerves, but he took it well."
