Dundee United manager Peter Houston expects to be without Scott Severin for up to two months after an ankle operation. The 31-year-old defender recently underwent a tidy-up operation on his ankle and now faces a period of rehabilitation. Houston is crossing his fingers the former Watford stopper will be fit and available for the closing months of the campaign. "I have spoken to Scott, who told me the operation went well and he is out of hospital," said Houston. "The doctors tidied up a bit of cartilage that had come loose and he will be out for six to eight weeks. "If we can get him back for the last three or four months of the season that would be a major boost for the team at an important time."
