Defender eyeing wins against Forest and Burnley

Barnsley defender Stephen Foster is hopeful the club can fire themselves up the Championship table. Foster has revealed that he has been pleased with the Tykes' start to the season despite the club sitting in 15th position. However, the 30-year-old former skipper knows the club can do better and he acknowledges that a back-to-back victories could catapult the Oakwell outfit up the table. Mark Robins' side will be hopeful that a win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday followed by victory away to Burnley on Tuesday night could see them move back into the top half. "Things can change very quickly," he told The Star. "I've always said if you can string together back-to-back victories then you can shoot right up this league because it's so tight. "And equally if you're unfortunate to lose a couple of games then you can slip right down there. But it's early days and we've got to be pleased with our start." Forest travel to Oakwell next and Foster knows they are capable of a win. He added: "Forest are a good side, but hopefully we can repeat our performance against them when we beat them at home last season."
