Cort on the comeback trail

Brentford striker Carl Cort hopes to return to training this week following a spell on the sidelines.

The former Newcastle star has been forced to sit out the first three games of the season with an Achilles problem. But Bees manager Andy Scott is hopeful Cort will be able to step up his recovery ahead of Saturday's trip to Swindon. "We're not sure about him yet, but hopefully he'll be training some time this week," said Scott.
