Palermo have completed the permanent capture of goalkeeper Francesco Benussi from Lecce.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with the Sicilian club without making a single appearance in Serie A.
He nevertheless impressed boss Delio Rossi, who is convinced that Benussi is the man to provide cover for first-choice Salvatore Sirigu.
Benussi has signed a three-year deal with Palermo and will therefore not be returning to newly promoted Lecce.
