Former St Mirren defender Jack Ross has been signed by Hamilton on a season-long contract.
The 34-year-old, who joined Saints from Falkirk in 2008, was released by the Paisley club at the end of last season.
Accies boss Billy Reid is thrilled to have secured the signature of Ross, who made 80 appearances for Saints and has also spent time with Dundee and Hartlepool.
"Jack is a player I have admired for some time and I'm delighted to bring him into our squad," said Reid.
The New Douglas Park first-team squad reported back for pre-season training on Monday.
Reid added: "The players will be working hard from day one."
