Midfielder leaves Anorthosis for FC Nantes
Bruno Cheyrou has agreed a move from Anorthosis Famagusta to Ligue 2 side FC Nantes.
The former Liverpool midfielder only joined Anorthosis in January but has opted to part ways with the Cypriot outfit.
Cheyrou is delighted to have signed a two-year deal with FC Nantes and is eagerly anticipating the forthcoming campaign.
He told skysports.com: "I am happy to be back in France. Nantes are a good club and I am here to help them get promoted."
The 32-year-old also reflected on his four-year stint with Liverpool, where he struggled to make an impact.
He added: "I never settled there, but that is life. It was a good experience for me, Liverpool are a big club and I loved the Anfield fans, they are the best in the world."
