Chievo defender Andrea Mantovani has declared that he is attracting interest from Palermo and another Italian club.
Mantovani earned rave reviews for his assured displays last season as Chievo proved one of the most difficult sides to break down in Serie A.
Reports have now suggested that Palermo are considering a summer move and he is flattered to be at the centre of such transfer talk.
However, Mantovani has yet to be officially approached and is keeping his options open as another club are thought to be keen as well.
"It is nice to hear that a side like Palermo are speaking about me," Mantovani told Palermo24.net. "They are a big side, and it honours me.
"But there is a difference between having an interest and beginning transfer discussions.
"Currently, I am on holidays, and have not heard from anyone. The only person I hear from is my agent, who mentions rumours to me.
"He has also told me that he has spoken with another Italian side."
