Veteran striker could return against Burton

Barnet's veteran striker Paul Furlong has been given the go-ahead to return to action after a month on the sidelines. Furlong has not featured in the Bees' last five games after being struck in the face by the ball from close range in the 2-0 win at Port Vale in February. The 41-year-old has been recovering from the injury and has now been granted the all-clear by the specialists to resume playing. It means Furlong may now be in contention to return to manager Ian Hendon's squad for Saturday's game at home to Burton Albion. He has scored three goals in 28 league appearances this season, while Barnet's only win during his absence came away at bottom club Darlington last weekend.
