Hannover 96 have moved to end speculation over Konstantin Rausch's future by signing the youngster up to a new contract extension.
The 19-year-old has recently been linked with moves to fellow Bundesliga sides Schalke and Hoffenheim 1899 after coming to the fore this season.
The defender's deal now runs until 2013 and general manager Jorg Schmadtke hopes the full-back can go on and improve further.
"Konstantin Rausch has already shown, in different Bundesliga matches he has got the talent to become a very good player," he told the club's official website.
"We attempt to see him become a regular first-team player over the upcoming years."
Meanwhile, Hannover have announced that midfielder Jan Rosenthal, who has supposedly recently interested Dortmund, and defender Christian Schulz have also penned extensions until 2011.
