Sampdoria have completed the signing of Franco Semioli from Fiorentina.
The Blucerchiati paid 5million euros (£4.3m) for the 29-year-old Italy midfielder and he will wear the number 77 shirt.
Fiorentina had decided to cash in on Semioli after bringing in Marco Marchionni from Juventus.
Semioli made his international debut in 2006 and previously played for Torino and Chievo.
