Luton have signed former Brentford winger Adam Newton on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old scored against the Hatters when the two sides met in the last game of the season earlier this month.
Newton was released by Brentford at the end of the season despite helping them win promotion to League One.
Luton boss Mick Harford believes the signing of Newton is a real bonus for the club as they look to win promotion back to the Football League next season.
"I think it's a coup for Luton Town to sign a player of Adam's ilk," Harford told the club's official website.
"He is athletic, experienced and the kind of player that we have been looking to bring to this football club for a long time."
