Striker fears he has not done enough to secure new contract

Lincoln City striker Ben Wright fears he has an 'uphill battle' to secure a new contract at Sincil Bank. Wright, who joined the Imps in 2007, is out of contract in the summer and has yet to be offered an extension. He has scored just three goals in 35 appearances this season and concedes that record may not be good enough to warrant fresh terms from Lincoln boss Peter Jackson. "I know I've not been up to scratch this season," he told the Lincolnshire Echo. "I've not been good enough, but all I can do is give everything for the last two games. "I do want to stay at the club, but I realise I am facing an uphill battle although I'm not trying to think about that until the end of the season."
