Influential pair missing for Spanish outfit

Villarreal will be missing defender Diego Godin and striker Joseba Llorente for the UEFA Champions League game against Man Utd on Tuesday. Godin suffered a muscle blow to his left leg while playing for Uruguay against France on Wednesday and needs a minimum of two weeks to recuperate. Meanwhile Llorente is set to be sidelined for around a month with a torn thigh muscle sustained in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Malaga. The 28-year-old is Villarreal's leading scorer this season with six goals in the Primera Liga and three in Europe. As replacements, coach Manuel Pellegrini could draft in Sebastian Eguren in defence and Guille Franco in attack.
