Chretien seeks Nancy exit

Michael Chretien is believed to be attracting interest from Premier League outfit Manchester City. The Nancy midfielder was believed to be heading for Real Betis this summer, but City are rumoured to be keen to hijack that deal. Chretien has made no secret of his desire to secure a move to one of Europe's most competitive divisions this summer, and admits that there has been an approach from England.

Exciting

"My agent is in discussions with Betis, but I am aware of an English club keen to acquire my services," he told skysports.com. "The Premier League has always been one of my favourites, along with the Spanish league, because they are exciting. "I don't want to be at Nancy next season, I've done enough there, I want to test myself in a top European league. "When I leave this club I want to do so in a friendly manner, with no animosity, but I need a new challenge."
