Northampton striker Andy Kirk is poised for a move to League One rivals Yeovil on a free transfer - subject to passing a medical. The Northern Ireland international has scored 11 goals this season but has not scored in the league since October. His contract is due to expire in the summer and manager Stuart Gray believes the money saved from his wages will help strengthen the squad. He said: "It is a good move for all parties. It is not a cost-cutting exercise but a footballing decision but it does free up some money for me to strengthen the team. "I am looking to bring two strikers in before the weekend, one will be a permanent signing and one a loan. "Andy is a goalscorer but he hasn't scored since October and he doesn't bring much more with his all-round game."
