Barnet have signed striker Cliff Akurang from Blue Square Premier side Histon for an undisclosed fee.
Akurang, formerly of Dagenham & Redbridge, has scored 10 goals in 19 games for Histon thus catching the eye of Barnet boss Paul Fairclough.
Making the journey to Underhill on Boxing Day, the 26-year-old is hoping to be registered in time to play for the Bees on New Year's Day against Wycombe.
Akurang is also eligible to play against Swindon Town in the third round of the FA Cup the following weekend.
