NAC BREDA have moved quickly to sign former PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Gino Coutinho on a one-year deal.

The 20-year-old joined NAC on trial this week after being released by the Philips Stadion club at last season's end, when manager Guus Hiddink decided not to extend the young custodian's contract.

Coutinho made only a handful of appearances in De Eredivisie with PSV and spent the closing months of last term on loan at Den Bosch.

He will likely compete with Arjan Christiansen for the back-up goalkeeping position at NAC, with Gabor Babos likely to remain the club's number one in the new Dutch campaign.
