Crewe boss Dario Gradi says trialist Brodie Mooy will not be offered a contract by the club after a two-week period at Gresty Road.
The 21-year-old striker will feature in the Railwaymen's reserve team friendly against Wigan, but will be released following the fixture. Gradi told the club's official website: "We will not be taking Brodie on. He is a decent player and a good lad. He is a sensible and intelligent boy but he is very similar to Jordan Connerton. "We are looking for something different to improve us."
