Shiels: On the mark
Hibernian came from behind to beat midweek European heroes Aberdeen 3-1 at Easter Road.
Second-half goals from Merouane Zemmama, Dean Shiels and Steven Fletcher helped Hibs recover from going 1-0 down at the break to take all three points.
Aberdeen broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when Zander Diamond swept the ball home from close range after Hibs failed to clear their lines.
Hibernian drew level four minutes after the break when Zemmama curled home a superb free-kick from the edge of the box.
Shiels gave the home side the lead when he scored at the second attempt after being played in by Fletcher.
In-form striker Fletcher made the game safe when he headed home the third goal in the final minute.
The win lifts Hibs up to fifth spot in the table, while Aberdeen drop down to eighth.
