Watford earned a valuable point at home to Plymouth Argyle with an injury-time leveller from Marlon King.

The Hornets have been going well in The Championship this season, but were second best for much of the game at Vicarage Road.

Plymouth nearly took the lead early on with a deflected effort from David Morris that flew narrowly wide.

After a slow first half, the game sparked into life after the restart, with Nick Chadwick controversially giving Argyle the lead (48).

Chadwick drilled home through a crowd, but Watford felt aggrieved that the referee had awarded a corner seconds earlier.

The home side were frustrated in their chase for an equaliser until the dying moments, when Anthony McNamee beat two defenders on the left before crossing for Malky Mackay to lay off for King's late strike.
