Wolves pegged back by Town

Wolves' promotion push continues to stutter as they were held to yet another draw - this time 1-1 at Ipswich Town.

Glenn Hoddle's reign has been littered with stalemates and so it proved at Portman Road after Colin Cameron's goal was cancelled out by Matt Richards' penalty.

Darren Currie was an influential figure for the home side and he curled a free kick just over and then saw a volley beaten away by Stefan Postma.

Wolves responded with Tom Huddlestone denied by Lewis Price and then Mark Kennedy lashed a shot over the bar from 20 yards.

The visitors swapped things about at half time and were rewarded on 51 minutes when Cameron's shot from distance deflected off Jason De Vos and looped over Price.

Ipswich made changes of their own and drew level on the hour mark when Richards scored from the spot after Gabor Gyepes was penalised for a foul on Nicky Forster.

From there, Wolves had the best chances to win the game, with Darren Anderton passing up a great opening and Seol Ki-hyeon firing over when it appeared easier to score.
