Di Natale goal denies Bremen

Udinese substitute Antonio Di Natale struck a late equaliser to deny Werder Bremen all three points in their UEFA Champions league Group C encounter.
The substitute secured a point for his team with a finely taken goal with four minutes to play after Vicente's own goal had put the visitors in front just after the hour mark.
While both teams may be disappointed not to have been victorious, a 1-1 scoreline was a fair reflection on a game that finally livened up after a woeful opening hour.
Thomas Schaaf's team headed to the Friuli Stadium flying high in the Bundesliga having scored six at the weekend to move joint-top of the table.
However, without injured striker Ivan Klasnic to partner Miroslav Klose, the visitors looked toothless in attack as Morgan De Sanctis in the home goal was rarely troubled.
The custodian was beaten nnce in the first 45 minutes but was saved by the woodwork as Johan Micoud's sweetly struck half-volley from the edge of the area smacked into the angle between cross bar and left post.
Udinese were also disappointing in the final third, although Vincenzo Iaquinta could have twice given them a lead they scarcely deserved before the break.
The striker scored a hat-trick in the Serie A side's Champions League debut against Panathiniakos, but he was unable to hit the target on two occassions when he was well placed to open the scoring.
The missed opportunities could have proved costly for the home side when Bremen broke the deadlock just after the hour mark to kick-start a match that appeared destined to end goalless.
A needless foul given away by Felipe gave the Germans an excellent opportunity to put the ball into the penalty box and the Brazilian defender then compounded his earlier error by heading the ball into his own net under little pressure from an opposing player.
Suddenly in danger of losing in Europe for a second straight time, Udinese pushed forward in the hope of finding an equaliser.
Sulley Mantari finally tested Werder's keeper Andreas Reinke with a long range drive that the custodian failed to hold, substitute Vitor Barretto unable to turn in the loose ball despite having two goes at finding the net.
Bremen appeared to have weathered the storm until a hopeful ball forward from the back found its way through to Di Natale, who rifled the ball home to grab his side a share of the spoils.
