Sheffield Wednesday and Watford shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough.

Ashley Young's late goal cancelled out Chris Brunt's opener to earn Watford a point.

Wednesday started brightly and were unlucky not to open the scoring after just three minutes when David Graham struck the woodwork.

Watford thought they had scored on two minutes when Marlon King found the net, but his effort was ruled out for handball.

The visitors survived a scare on 12 minutes when goalkeeper Ben Foster upended Graham just outside the box, but referee Tony Leake only booked the keeper.

The home side broke the deadlock on 64 minutes when Lee Peacock brilliantly played in Brunt and the Northern Ireland international coolly lifted the ball over Foster into the net.

Watford drew level four minutes from time when Young beat his marker and fired in a shot off the post and into the net.

The visitors almost won the game in the dying seconds when Richard Wood cleared a shot off the line.
