The referee blows his whistle for full-time. Newcastle deserve plenty of credit for their performance tonight as they have produced a very strong display with only 10 men. Manchester City are slightly fortunate to have grabbed a point and they have plenty of work to do before they can make a bid for a top four spot.
Manchester City make their final change of the match with Sturridge taking the place of Garrido. Plenty of attacking players on the pitch for the away side now.
Newcastle make their second change of the match with Andrew Carroll taking the place of the hugely impressive Ameobi in the centre of the Magpies' attack.
Before the corner can be taken Newcastle make a substitution with Charles N'Zogbia taking the place of the hardworking Martins.
Manchester City react to Newcastle taking the lead by bringing on Ched Evans for Hamann.
OWN GOAL DUNNE! Geremi's corner from the right is turned into his own net by Dunne from eight yards. The Manchester City defender just side-footed the ball into the bottom left hand corner of his own net under no pressure. 2-1 to Newcastle.
Manchester City have made their first change of the match with Nedum Onuoha taking the place of Richards.
The referee blows his whistle for half-time to bring a very entertaing opening period to an end. Newcastle fans should be very pleased with their side as they have responded to Beye's harsh red card by playing with real spirit and nous. Manchester City have been very poor at the end of this half and I think Mark Hughes will let them know that in no uncertain terms during the break.
Ameobi's shirt is pulled by Kompany on the halfway line and the Manchester City midfielder is rightly booked
GOAL AMEOBI! Martins' cross from the left is cleared by Dunne but the ball deflects back to Ameobi. The Newcastle striker keeps his composure and sends a neat finish past Hart from close-range. The scores are level.
Garrido is rightly booked by the referee after he pulls Duff back as the Newcastle work looks to storm down the left flank. Dunne is now back on the pitch.
GOAL ROBINHO! Robinho sends Given the wrong way to put his penalty into the bottom right hand corner of the Newcastle goal. Manchester City lead 1-0.
Robinho is bundled to the ground by Habib Beye as he looks to reach Wright-Phillips' through ball into the Newcastle box. The defender is sent-off and Manchester City have a penalty.
