Joleon Lescott scored a dramatic last minute equaliser for Wolves as they earned a point from a 2-2 draw at Cardiff.

Glenn Hoddle's side trailed to two goals from Cameron Jerome before Leon Clarke halved the deficit and Lescott scrambled in the equaliser.

Former Wolves boss Dave Jones has been battling to get his new signings to gel since the start of the season, but Jerome has been a real plus point.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring when he headed in Kevin Cooper's cross, before beating Michael Oakes with a right-foot drive shortly after the interval to take his tally for the season to five.

Cardiff maintained their two-goal advantage until the 73rd minute when substitute Clarke, who had earlier been denied by Neil Alexander, side-footed in.

Jerome missed a fine chance to complete his hat-trick and seal Cardiff's victory in the final minute and the home side were made to pay.

Jackie McNamara's long throw-in into The Bluebirds' penalty area was not properly dealt with and Lescott prodded in from close range.
