Andy Gray breathed life into Sheffield United's play-off hopes as his last minute penalty denied Queens Park Rangers a point.

Neil Warnock's Blades are famed for their never-say-die attitude and they left it late to see off The R's.

There was no sign of the drama to come when Martin Rowlands' shot deflected off Jon Harley and into the net to hand the visitors the lead.

Danny Webber has proved to be an astute signing and he levelled the scores moments before the interval, surging through the QPR defence and firing a low shot beyond Simon Royce.

Webber doubled his individual tally on 53 minutes, heading home from close range to hand The Blades the lead.

Rangers fought back and a defensive error from Chris Morgan gifted possession to Kevin Gallen and he levelled the scores on 66 minutes.

The home side were undeterred and continued to pile forward, with Gray and Webber forcing saves from Royce before Georges Santos was penalised for fouling Leigh Bromby in the box.

Gray kept his cool as he slotted home from the spot to hand The Blades maximum spoils and Rangers' woes were compounded when Andrew Davies saw red in the last minute,
